How much does it cost?Just $55 per travel day. If you would like daily food and drink recommendations that is an additional $10/day. Any changes to the dates of travel after the deposit incur a $99 change fee.

What's the difference between a regular travel agent and Jen?The simplest way to explain the difference between the two is that travel agents simply book trips while travel planners completely customize every detail of your trip experience. Travel agents often work for free and have connections and partnerships with various hotels, tours, and cruises. You'll have to work with those they work with, and their motivation is to make the most money they can off of your trip. They often book just the basics. I do all of the research, including research about the city or country that you are about to visit, as well as the bookings. This includes things like understanding the cultural differences. And, I will happily book anything for you regardless of if there's a kickback. My only loyalty is to you.

How much do I pay to start?I used to accept just a small deposit, but too many people took advantage and ran away with my itineraries without making the final payment. Now, I require full payment to start, which I’m sure you can understand.

How far in advance do I start?There’s no such thing as too early. There is such a thing as procrastinating! Trips that are within 30 days will double the planning fee because of the tight turnaround time.

What's the first step?Just determine your travel dates and fill out the client inquiry form.

Is it really custom?Yes! Each trip is completely tailored to you and your travel companion's desires. I consider your travel style, your interest in history, art, culture, gastronomics, shopping, nightlife, any dietary restrictions, how much walking you want to do, and more! It's as custom as it gets.

What destinations do you cover? Where do you specialize in?Absolutely everywhere and anywhere! I have 20+ years travel experience, I’ve been to 25+ counties and hundreds of cities. My superpower is being able to custom plan as if I’ve been there, even if I have not been there yet. I specialize in couple travel, road trips, solo travel, and small group trips.

Can I give input into my trip?Absolutely! We'll be in constant contact, making sure everything is to your liking.

If I already have some plans made, is that okay?Of course! Just disclose them during our initial consultation to make sure they get worked in. You'll only pay for the days that I plan.

What if I only need you to plan part of my trip?That's fine. Just tell me how many/which days you want planned in the beginning. I do have a three-day minimum.

Can you book cruises?Sure can! Traditional cruises and river boat cruises {swoon}. My recommendations are Virgin and Viking.

Do you book tour groups?Yes, and I am a fan of them, particularly G Adventures! I get that sometimes you just want to show up and not have to think about a thing. I have traveled with G Adventures to Southeast Asia, on an African safari, to Japan, and throughout Morocco. These exclude the daily planning fee, if you’re interested, just drop me a note and I can help you!

Do you book hotels?Yes. As a licensed agent, I can score you some solid hotel deals, but if Airbnb or VRBO makes more sense, I can make recommendations.

Do you book flights?No, I do not book flights, but I can do a flight consultation and give you tips and suggestions. You will start the process with me as soon as you're committed to flights so that we have dates and times to work from.

Do you provide 24/7 concierge service?No. With working a full-time job and the time zone differences, I can’t be on call for you 24/7. You will have all of the booking details, confirmation numbers, etc. Of course, I am here to help you should something come up while you’re traveling.

Can I view my trip offline?Yes. The trip will be on your app, but the itinerary can and should be printed just in case.

What if a tour/activity gets canceled?You will be notified as soon as I am informed of the change, and refunded by that company. If you like, I will attempt to make other arrangements for you. However, I am not responsible for any cancellations by hotels, airlines, tour excursions etc. (You know, since I don’t run those companies). I always recommend purchasing travel insurance.
